Hello, I’m Gleb Esman, Chief Architect of MemberWing. This page is a bit about me.

I started my professional career in 1988 developing computerized production line solutions on Microsoft Basic (I think that what it was called?).
Shortly thereafter I’ve made a sudden dive into Intel x86 assembler being forced to disassemble and eliminate unknown computer viruses that disabled machines of one of the european computer centers I was working for.
Over the years I gradually matured into higher level languges such as C, C++ and eventually found myself working on and for Internet, developing WEB Applications using PHP/MySQL/Linux, playing a bit with Ruby on Rails (Heroku/Git), and doing consulting for financial world on Microsoft Visual development tools, Visual C++ (most versions), and some ASP.NET / C#.
The concepts of online commerce, architecting, developing and launching useful web applications that benefit everyone has always been fun and exciting occupation for me.

My serious professional career started in 1990 when I joined Israeli Anti-Virus Development company Carmel Software Engineering.
In 1991 we moved to Canada and in 1993 I began working for IBM/Toronto. Later on that IBM facility was rebranded as Celestica.

In 1994 I joined IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center (Hawthorne, New York) working with IBM Anti-Virus Development team of Steve R. White, John Morar, Jeff Kephart, Bill Arnold, Dave Chess and many other great people.

Over there I’ve architected the first in-software virtual machine that emulated complete Intel microprocessor instruction set as well as virtual memory within small running program. That technology was used by IBM Anti-Virus system to analyze, detect and repair computer data from known and even previously unknown viruses and malicious programs. This solution was later licensed to Symantec Corporation.

In 2000 my family moved to San Francisco, California where I worked as a Lead Software Engineer for internet technology company Engage Media working on custom software solutions for high performance web servers.

In 2001 we moved back to Ontario, Canada. From 2001 I was involved in consulting work for different financial and technology companies architecting and developing WEB applications, building standalone applications, solutions and systems. Technologies used: Microsoft Visual Development environments and Development Tools, C, C++, object oriented programming.

Since 1995 I was progressively more and more involved into the wild world of web, ecommerce and web application development. In 1996 I launched my first commercial product on internet – real time data backup and data mirroring tool: BXCOPY. Using only my website BXCOPY product has been sold in 26 countries around the world.

MemberWing and MemberWing-X

MemberWing as a wordpress membership plugin was born in 2008 as part of my volunteer effort for spiritual teacher who wanted to build his own wordpress-based membership site. This product quickly evolved into powerful commercial product and since then I was working on it almost fulltime. Early this year I’ve undertaken an effort to redesign and clean MemberWing and MemberWing-X was born. Things are getting more exciting as I keep improving MemberWing-X and added support for more payment systems and included integrations with other applications, services and tools.
Today MemberWing-X is one of the most advanced, SEO optimized, powerful yet simple to operate solution to build enterprise quality membership sites with WordPress.

Besides working on MemberWing I do consulting work architecting and developing custom backend WEB solutions, online applications, integrating online portals and systems with different payment processors and working on connecting incompatible systems and services together.

Here are few of my most recent projects:

• Custom WEB analytics and data mining solution that allowed to uncover new online marketing and profit opportunities for active ecommerce portals.
• Architecting and development of specialized online service that combines viral marketing + social media + affiliate marketing all together. This system will allow everyone to monetize their social media connections in a win-win scenario and offer previously untapped viral marketing possibilities to any online and off-line merchant (currently under development).
• Architecting, development and implementation of automatic digital content theft protection and tracing system. This technology allows premium digital content owners and merchants to track, trace and reduce illegal distribution of premium digital materials and prevent revenue loss due to digital content theft.
• Architecting original concepts and then launching powerful SEO (Search Engine Optimization) technology to help promote online portals in highly competitive online environments (50,000,000+ competing sites in $10+ /per click keywords).
  This technology generated about 500,000 purely organic, diversified, do-followed, one-way backlinks with no recurring cost, making it one of the world’s most powerful and cost-efficient SEO promotional tool for my clients.

During recent months I’ve taken serious time to study the concepts of viral marketing and gave lots of thought to possibility of developing web applications and services with powerful viral marketing capabilities.

I’ve architected 2 different systems dedicated to bringing powers of viral marketing into the hands of online merchants.
One system is planned to function as an independent service and another will become part of MemberWing-X soon. Things are getting more exciting!

Outside of the technology world I am very interested in researching aspects of human mind and abilities of humans to improve quality of their lives with the focusing power of their mind and consciousness.
I love learning about vibrational nature of our universe and everything related to application of these concepts into our daily life.

My other hobbies and interest include professional digital photography and digital image editing.
